Is tandem skydiving safe?

Skydiving always involves some inherent risks. However, tandem skydiving has been developed to minimize these risks and is the absolute safest way for the general public to experience skydiving. A tandem skydive with one of our professional instructors and modern skydiving gear is the safest possible way to try it.

All our instructors are highly experienced, with many years in the sport and many thousands of jumps. Skydive Stockholm has been skydiving since 1958, and we’re the only skydiving club in Sweden with a twin engine aircraft, a DHC-6-300 Twin Otter which is one of the safest skydiving aircraft in the world.
